We are present at ENERGY EXPO 2026, the event that brings together Romania’s energy ecosystem. This year, we bring to our stand industrial cooling and water treatment solutions for four areas we work with every day alongside our clients, presented both through live exhibited equipment and through case studies from real projects.

Natural gas conditioning with containerized packages
We designed a fully containerized LTS package for natural gas conditioning through low temperature separation. The system treats 1,000,000 Sm³ of gas per day, at a process temperature of -28°C, through a configuration based on an ammonia chiller, adiabatic cooling towers and fully closed glycol and methanol circuits. The entire package takes up just 300 m² and is delivered as a mobile, modular solution, with fast installation and relocation.
Industrial-scale cooling infrastructure for green hydrogen production
For green hydrogen production, we sized modular packages for water treatment and cooling, adapted for electrolyzers with variable load. The system treats 60,000 m³ of water per day, with a total cooling capacity of 30 MW, supported by smart water treatment, with continuous analysis through Nalco 3D TRASAR and integrated anti-legionella protection, in line with European regulations.
Complete cooling package for a cogeneration power plant
At a cogeneration power plant, we delivered pumping, filtration and water treatment systems for turbines and condensers. Water flow reaches 216,000 m³ per day, with a total cooling capacity of 160 MW, through a configuration with open circuit cooling towers, integrated anti-legionella protection, vertical pumps and self-cleaning filters. The system operates modularly, adapting to partial load.
Automated digestate dewatering for biogas and biomethane facilities
For a digestate processing project resulting from anaerobic fermentation, we implemented a fully automated Flottweg package, with no human intervention required. The centrifuge, together with a macerator and a Valmet TS solids measurement system, processes 25 m³ of digestate per hour, achieving a 35% dewatering rate, in continuous, 24/7 operation.

EWK 225 cooling tower — open circuit cooling tower, with a fiberglass-reinforced polyester casing, resistant to corrosion. Consultech’s history is rooted in the EWK cooling tower division, formerly part of Sulzer, and our partnership with them is reflected directly in numbers: over 700 cooling towers and heat exchangers sold, installed and maintained by our team. EWK towers are part of our solutions for the energy industry, from natural gas conditioning, to cooling infrastructure for green hydrogen and cooling systems for power plants.
Vahterus half cut PSHE 3 heat exchanger — a cutaway section of a plate and shell welded heat exchanger, for a direct view of its internal construction. At the core of the technology is a pack of circular plates, welded together, mounted inside a cylindrical shell, with no gaskets, which reduces the footprint by up to 70% compared to a conventional shell and tube heat exchanger. These are units suited for high pressures and temperatures, widely used in the energy industry for cooling, process heat recovery or condensation.
3D model of a water treatment container — a scaled-down representation of a complete 6-meter container, with a flowmeter, FTA filter, UV filter, water softening station, water pumps and a 2 m³ buffer tank, along with air conditioning and heating for consistent operation year-round. These are factory pre-assembled solutions, ready for installation, suited for projects with short implementation timelines.
